First post but a long time lurker. Coming from the B5 platform with my last S4 being stage 3 pushing 475hp / 700nm. Now owned a B8 S4 for circa 6 months and working through some maintenance items....currently running a stage 1 Jackal.
I've a clicking front CV joint so have bought a new drive shaft (Bilstein) which comes with new CV's. The replacement shaft arrived this morning but it doesn't have the expected ABS reluctor toothed ring on it. Having changed many driveshafts over the years on lots of VAG cars I was expecting this to be on the shaft....but it's not so I was planning on just ordering one up and installing it before fitting the shaft.
A quick check on ETKA (the free version so I can't see detailed drawings) I can't seem to find the toothed ABS ring...I then checked the wider Internet inc Autodoc and I'm really struggling to find anything from a trustworthy source. Autodoc didn't show any?! I'm getting conflicting rings / photos inc one on eBay which says it's compatible but it's not got a part number and I'd rather be certain before pressing the buy button!
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
