Weld/clamp in resonators for downpipes

Purchased the car this way and looking to quiet /even out / remove rasp from the exhaust. My current setup is stock cats to AWE downpipes that seemed to have had the resonators removed and straight pipe welded in, then to an MBRP mid muffler bypass to stock mufflers and tips. It's not awful, so I'm not going to spend $700 -$900 for new resonated downpipes. It is worth a couple hundred to buy some resonators and have them welded/clamped in.

Maybe something line this on my 3.0T Q5. The setup is different, but focus on the stainless Vibrant Ultra Quiet resos toward the back. My stock cats failed, so this is Red Star Catless Shielded Downpipes into OEM piping with downstream Magnaflow bottle high flow cats followed by the Vibrants in place of OEM resos. The remainder of the system is OEM suitcase muffler to twin pipes and resonators and tips.

You would put the Vibrants where stock resos would have been.
