Rear camera retrofit

Can anyone give me advice on how I should proceed with installing a camera on my S4? I know that there are really 2 primary ways to do this: you either 1) go completely OEM, which includes the extra control module and everything (but I'm sure it works much better), or you go 2) and get a handle with an integrated camera that goes straight to the mmi box in the center console.
I'm sure that I like the sound of going full OEM (with the dynamic parking lines and all) but I am hesitant because I don't know how difficult that install would be. Can anyone direct me to any writeups for a diy? Most of what I've found has been for the aftermarket camera.
What would you all do? OEM or aftermarket?

I went easy route, rear view cam plus box from AliExpress that plugs in the MMI. Easy to fit and they have dynamic parking lines as well. https://a.aliexpress.com/_EwGYYYV

I installed this many years ago. MMI integration is just like factory, same for the trunk release button.

RS Nav either their standalone or for extra $ their touchscreen plus their HD camera isn’t a whole lot extra at this point. It probably wasnt an option when you did it, but it’s worth bringing up now.
