Anybody have any experience with Chinese PCVs ?
I only do about 10,000km per year so if they only last 50,000km it wouldn't be too bad.
And since the Audi one has only lasted 100,000km it still wouldn't be bad since they are 1/4 of the price.
But if they only last 10,000km then obviously not worth risking.
Thoughts ?

Consider the labor to replace it. One labor charge will pay for a good one from FCP with lifetime warranty.

My DIY labour is free :)
Being a total cheapskate I decided to buy just the replacement diaphragm. will report back once installed.

Replacement of the diaphragm doesn't help the pcv not fail in the worst way. It's when they leak coolant internally and destroy your engine. This happens due to the age of the plastic. I would replace the whole thing if I were you.

Yeah but so far it hasn't - I will cross that bridge if I come to it. For now need to save some money and prepare for doing it properly later. will keep a close eye on coolant level and cross my fingers :)
Want to do the 3.2l alloy air-oil separator and relocated PCV but don't have funds, time or space ATM :(
