This will be my first winter with the A6, and the OEM carpet mats won't cut it for me up here....
I've looked into the OEM rubber option, and they are pricey.....
Is anyone aware of decent alternatives or options?

Check out Tuxmat. Tuxmat.ca Made in Toronto. Custom fit for most Audi models available. I have had mine for 6 years and going strong. I did have a problem with the front driver mat and they replaced it at no charge. Pretty Sure Weathertech makes them for your car as well

Check out Tuxmat.
Thanks, but they appear to only make stuff for the newer models.

Correct... they are crazy pricey just like the OEM version....

Yeah, they are expensive but they also ride up the walls way more so they have more coverage. As others mentioned, they've been around forever and have a very good reputation so I suppose that's why they can justify it.
OEM is cheaper but they're also only about 1/2" to 3/4" high. Enough for normal use, but occasionally you will get some splashes of salt. I got mine used from another AZ member in excellent condition for even cheaper.

I bought a Gledring trunk liner years ago. I dont exactly beat on it but it has remained perfect. I like the pattern on it as it has kept small liquid spills to a small area instead of running though the canals of the standard mat. About $100 on amazon/ebay.
I bought my MAXpider mats on Amazon nearly 5 years ago. Awesome product. Several coworkers bought their own after seeing them in my car.
They were inexpensive when I bought them---I think I paid under $60 for a set of four. I just looked and their price has gone up to $171.99. Great mats, but might be too expensive for most now: https://www.amazon.com/3D-MAXpider-Complete-Custom-All-Weather/dp/B009T9VRNC/ref=sr_1_2?af=eyJ2ZWhpY2xlTmFtZSI6IjIwMTMgQXVkaSBB NiIsInZlaGljbGUiOiIyMDEzLTczLTk4My0tLS0tLS0tLS0tLS J9&sr=8-2&vehicle=2013-73-983------------&vehicleName=2013%2BAudi%2BA6

Seems like a potential option... $220 CAD pre tax... not cheap, but they do seem decent.

I have OEM that I got off a guy on facebook marketplace. They are ok. Not the best, but better then carpet. Although I detail my car every saturday so I havent dealt with too much salt stains or anything, but Im sure if left, they would be there.

Fit and finish is decent... no regrets with purchase thus far... will follow up after I get some use out of them.

Nice. Everybody who rides in my car notices these mats right away and comments on them. The textured surface gives them a relatively high-end look, and they're absolutely waterproof---when they get grimy in the winter I just pull them out, hose them off, then reinstall after wiping quickly with a cloth.

They look wicked. Did you get a trunk liner also?
BTW: The silver trim looks so good. The wood grain on mine makes it look like a 80's Cadillac.

Thanks. No trunk liner... they didn't have a "custom" one... just some generic that you trim down yourself... still searching for that option.... but not in a rush as I don't typically throw dirty stuff in the trunk anyways.
Re trim.... I looked a long long time to find the exact setup I wanted... had to be Technik & S-Line.... wanted white, but had to settle as these are super rare to find available in TDI and unmolested. Paid way more for it than I should've, but it's hard to bargain on things that are rare.

I just went down this Rabbit Hole.
I ended up purchasing OEM all weather floor mats from FCPEuro which were still in stock. Feee shipping by the way.
I also bought the OEM Foam Trunk liner.
Trunk Foam Liner - 4G5061160 - $86.99
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/audi-foam-cargo-mat-black-genuine-audi-4g5061160
Front all weather - 4G1061221041 - $90.99
Rear all weather - 4G0061511041 - $76.99
I also bought a used set of OEM textile and a new set from Lithoania. By the way I called a dozen Audi dealers for the OEM front and rear sets and in the USA they must be all sold out.
You may see the two textile mat sets pop up in the Classifeds in the next 2 weeks if I don’t keep them.

It isnt so much about finding them but more so the cost. Once you factor in exchange rate(based on prices you provided) it would cost $356.96cdn + whatever shipping is and whatever ups/fedex would charge for duties. I wouldnt be surprised if it all came out to $550CDN or more?
Just double checked what it would cost to ship all these items up here.
$254.97USD Cost
$72.24USD Shipping
39% Exchange rate
$454.82CDN
Roughly $80.69 for duties/taxes
Total in CDN $535.51
Kinda hard to justify spending almost $550 for mats, no?

There are some Canadian importers here.
For example, German OEM:
https://germanoem.ca/oem-foam-trunk-liner-c7-a6.html - $100
https://germanoem.ca/oem-rubber-mat-set-c7-a6.html - $160
So with tax about $293 plus shipping
Keep in mind, this is with the trunk foam liner, not the rubber one (4G5061180) which is another $60+ $7.80 tax - https://germanoem.ca/oem-rubber-trunk-liner-c7-a6.html
Still kinda pricey but not as bad

Well then!
I didn’t factor in your specific location or outside the US pricing.

I hate that the carpet gets wet by the gas pedal in the winter. Keep an eye on it and wipe the carpet periodically during winter(assuming you get snow where you're from)

Since you are in Canada I suggest:
1) Phantom mats from Costco Canada (not sold by Costco in the US). They are rebranded Tuxmats, ship from Tuxmats and are cheaper
https://www.costco.ca/phantom-custom-fit-car-mats.product.100017140.html
2) 3D MAXpider mats, also from Costco. They are on sale for the next couple of days:
https://www.costco.ca/3d-maxpider-mat-custom-fit-all-weather-car-mats%3b-row-1-and-2-only.product.10367254.html
Similar thread in the C8 forum:
https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/994596-All-weather-mats-OEM-isn%E2%80%99t-going-to-cut-it
Both come with the great Costco warranty.

I'm looking at an A6, and bought Witamats for my A4 Avant.
Loved em.
Today they're apparently $170 US.
