My car is fairly heavily modified, and I’m about ready to move on to something different. For anyone who’s done a back to stock sale, would you recommend it? Some of the stuff I have I will definitely sell off as it is easy to replace, but I’m wondering if I’m better off leaving some stuff alone, like the suspension especially since used coilovers can’t be worth much.

I know the mods don’t add value to the car, but do they subtract much value? I don’t mind the headache of taking everything apart but I think it could be hard to do with shipping since my other car is an ‘81 VW and having the B7 sit for weeks wouldn’t be ideal. There is a pick n pull near me with 2 B7s I’ll have to go check out, that could make it work.

As an aside, If anyone happens to be interested in buying a modified B7 I can pm the list of the mods. I have all service records since new. Central VA location. Thanks for reading!

IMO - leave it all. Especially if you're getting something different. The juice aint worth the squeeze

All depends on how modified and what valuable parts ya have, condition, etc.
Some used parts sell quick, others ya see people sit on forever, esp if they ask too much. So gotta decide if its worth it to you.
Best to come up with a full list of parts that youd be willing to strip/ship, and put out some feelers.
