I have a noise coming from the center right or right side of my car. I'd describe it as a knocking noise that increases or decreases with speed driven. The noise stops when I go over 35-40 mph or most notably when I apply the brakes. I can confirm they do not have anything to do with the control arms.

It seems whenever the car shifts in a certain direction the noise reduces or completely goes away until the suspension shifts another direction. Can't confirm which direction but it seems to happen at random.

When I stomp in the brakes hard it seems to go away for a few seconds then it come back. Don't know if that has to do with the suspension being moved around.

Would it have anything to do with the brake pads and caliper? Maybe they're not seated in correctly? I'm going to buy some disc brake quiet and apply it tomorrow so just thought I'd get some input before then.

Could definitely be the pads knocking around, check and make sure the retaining springs are in place and that your pads aren’t coming apart. I recently did my front brakes and found one of the passenger side pads was coming off the backing plate!

Yes it was this haha. Sound was driving me crazy heading to autozone lol threw some disk brake quiet and grease on the pads and fixed the plate and spring and voila no more sound. Thanks for the reassurance!
