I am about to embark on the replace everything under the supercharger and carbon clean the intake valve adventure. I also plan on removing the injectors and either having them cleaned or replace them. The car is a 2016 stock S4 with 103K miles and runs well, idles fairly smooth. I am looking for opinions on cleaning the injectors or replacing. I'm trying to catch everything, so I don't have to go back in for a while. I also plan on keeping the car for a long while. Thanks.

Cleaning DI injectors is hit or miss and not worth the possible failure and it destroys a cylinder. The consensus is to replace them on these vs cleaning. Thread earlier I posted discussed this and which ones to buy either OEM or continental which is OEM. Rockauto apparently sells them and are legit for around $170 a pop I think? Do NOT buy Bremen injectors - pure Alibaba trash.

Second on the problems with Bremen. I bought one from ECS last year that I literally just replaced a few hours ago. I bought one from the dealer - he beat FCP’s price on Audi genuine by a couple bucks.
Flogged the car this afternoon after doing the work - zero misfires now and runs perfectly smooth. No faults in vagcom.

Thanks for the reply LowKey Loki. I think I am inclined to replace them. Although I hate to spend the money, I think it's worth the peace of mind. I have seen some on ebay for under $100. The part number is correct and the photo shows Continental with the audi rings on the injector, but I am leery of what I might actually receive for that price. FCP has Continental's advertised for $100 but they are back ordered.

I tried the ones off of eBay for under $100. They looked the part but once I logged with them installed my fuel trims were very high so I ended up replacing them. Got the "Standard Motor Products" injectors from RockAuto, they are the Continentals.

Yeah, I was wondering if counterfeit injectors are a thing. I have heard of people getting counterfeit NGK spark plugs from online outlets.

eBay is definitely not the place to buy parts, at least not for something as important as injectors.
