I have a 2016 3.0t Q5, just figured its more likely to find the right people in this forum.

My car has 107k miles on it. I have no codes when scanned, and PCV was just replaced, this was occurring before PVC work though. Car Is IE stage 1 ECU/TCU, but I have ran it for over 10k miles de-tuned with no difference in my issue.
When my car is warm, I will occasionally have a rough Idle and sometimes will start to surge. Sometimes I can just sit in park and it'll rev up slightly then will come back down and the car almost stalls out. Sometimes if the car sits for like 1hr then is turned back on (car is still warm here In Florida) it wont start unless I press the accelerator pedal, then it will idle like normal.
Once I am moving, the car drives perfectly with no roughness, miss fires, or any apparent loss In power.

I do have a video of this, but I am having a hard time getting it converted and uploaded here.

You might want to check your ignition coils or spark plugs. I had that idle hunting issue on start up, turned out to be my spark plugs.

In addition to checking spark plugs and coil packs, there could also be an air leak in the intake plumbing or the PCV system that causes unmetered air to enter the cylinders. What happens when you remove the oil cap while running?

Thanks for the insight. Ive had the plugs changed at like 70k miles, but could be an issue. I just find it strange that it runs normally under any load

My PCV has been taken care of and no other vacuum leaks present, along with no leaks in the intake system. Removing the oil cap shows the traditional symptoms of an functioning PCV, that has been taken care of already including the breather and everything needed.
