Hey guys I’ve had electrical issues on my a4 for months now. My climate control doesn’t work unless I unplug the fuse for the steering column. I need to find that ground. The ground is 135 I’ll include a picture of the diagram if I can. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Man itÂ’s a long story. First my steering wheel controls would intermittently go out. Then the climate control went out except on defrost thatÂ’s the only thing that works. IÂ’ve replaced everything behind the steering wheel clock spring etc. Then the climate control went out. After another month of trying things I pulled the fuse for steering column and boom the climate control works fine.

I would almost be looking for water damage at the kick panel or under the driver seat. Looking at the diagram, it looks like the steering wheel is only connected to the climate controls through the high and low data bus. And if you pull a fuse for it to work, it wouldn't be a ground issue for the climate controls, more likely you have something else shorting.

And looking, ground 135 is a lot of thing. Like, cluster and lights, etc.

IÂ’ll look down in that area. IÂ’ve replaced both of the modules the one down in that area and the module right below the relay panel. Neither of which did anything. IÂ’ll look for loose or exposed wiring. Thanks for the help Renisis much appreciated this a4 has been a nightmare since this happened.

I’ll look down in that area. Ive replaced both of the modules the one down in that area and the module right below the relay panel. Neither of which did anything. I will look for loose or exposed wiring in that area because it’s definitely had some water down there when it was snowing.
