Does anyone have the correct torque value for these?
For some reason that makes no sense to me, there isn't a torque value on elsawin. It just says "fit wheel bearing housing" - Not so much as a picture, despite having a picture with arrows to show you how to remove something as simple as the heat shield.
I've looked online and keep finding either 80Nm or 80Nm + 90 degrees. Obviously if the value is in fact 80Nm then adding a 90 degree turn is not going to be good and not adding the 90 degrees if it's needed would also be pretty bad. I always thought the extra turn was only for stretch bolts which i didn't think those 4 bolts were but i'm not sure...
Anyone got a definitive answer to this? Quite a critical component to get wrong.
Another question i just thought of - Is loctite supposed to be used? Some DIY's seem to suggest it is but again, no mention on elsawin...
Edit - I managed to find it on Elsawin, it says 80Nm plus 90 degree. Although another workshop manual someone showed me says just 80Nm. Has anyone here ever torqued one of these to 80Nm + 90 degrees?
