Odd noise from under the hood

Hello everyone. I have a 2018 S7 and there's a weird noise coming from the engine. Best way I can describe it is that it sounds like someone honking at someone who won't go on a green light. It definitely isn't the horn though and it is slight. The noise starts once the engine has warmed and it stays constant when driving. Accelerating, shifting, etc. doesn't change anything about the noise. I have video but can't upload it here. Hopefully, someone can help. Thanks!

From what I've read on here, it could be your pcv. That seems to be a common issue. There's a way to check it by taking off your oil cap. You'll have to look it up, since I don't remember exactly how to do it. I've only had my S7 for a couple of months.

Pull your oil cap while it's making the noise. If it goes away, it's fairly certain to be PCV related.

I'll try that. I posted a video on another thread and a guy said it was from a loose spark plug. Happened to him after a maintenance. I'm hoping that's what it is.

Seems like that would vary in tone and intensity based on engine speed and load though. You mentioned it staying constant. Stranger has happened though!

The guy said it was so faint that he couldn't tell if it would change while accelerating/decelerating.

I pulled off the cap and yh engine roared so I could barely hear it. I though it was still on but I'm not sure.
