Fried my MAF and I've been looking for a new one. TRYING to stay away from the stealerships... I checked ECS, but they are backordered on the '01 MAF's. Any quick links guys?

3 MAF's!?!?! Are you sure its not b/c of ebay??? btw- ECS does have a MAF sensor for the '01 but it sorta freaks me out because it says its meant for the 2.0L, but sometimes it works for the 1.8T. What does that mean?

Yeah, the 2001's get rapped... And with the three MAF thing, I think it may be due to Upsolute... Seems that Upsolute tuned cars like to eat MAFs I have come to realize... Mine eats MAFs like no tomorrow, k0mpressed keeps eating MAFs and a couple others that have Up also eat MAFs....

Yah I was gonna say... I ran to the stealership today and they were asking $180 for a rebuilt MAF sensor. I laughed at the guy and walked out cause I'm sure I can find cheaper.

btw- i read that after installing a K&N, the oil from the filter can sometimes mess up the MAF... I'm gonna try cleaning it today and go from there.

Is it bad, or would a cleaning fix it?
