I Just had my car up on jacks to swap my wheels out with my old ones... my friend is buying my old set and had the Ace's repaired... so they are on the car now, I lower the car off the jacks and try to put it in reverse/drive and NOTHING.... the car wont go anywhere... I mean it goes into gear and will go a tiny if you like put the gas down hard.... as if the brakes are frozen up on it or something... I released the ebrake and it feels like its still on, car goes no where, PLEASE help me out here, I dont know what to do *panicing!!!!*

did you use different length lug bolts that are too long? if so they could be binding up against the hub collar and not allow for rotation.

Does your car move in drive?
check your axles...
dont ask me why or how you could have broken them but check anyway.

i think audisnapr has the correct idea.
but, maybe when you swapped wheels you knocked the e-brake cable some how so where is doesnt want to release when you take the e-brake off?
