I just got this gem off the boat. Fully restored by a leading restoration facility in the motherland (Germany).

1971, two door sunroof sedan.

Back in the day (1982) my 1st car was a 1973 100LS, sporting Orange/tan vinyl combo, sunroof, manual transmission. This 1971 is an automatic with cloth insert seats, so it leans more luxury. Of course its been over 40 years so the luxury is welcomed!

Fully restored down to the last nut & bolt. As clean underneath as on top. Who would be crazy enough to do that to a 100LS? We all would right?! [cool]

Anyhow I will keep all updated if you like as I go around & drive this machine showing it off & introducing people to the classic Audi 100LS.

Hello Michael,

congrats on a sweet C1 pick. This kind of restorations make very happy. A+++ Does this one have the so called "Muench Mammoth" engine?
Ciao

Muench Mammoth!

I am going to educate myself on this and find out. It's no mammoth in my eyes, as its about 100HP. [up]

You have a beautiful car! I worked at the Audi dealer when these cars were new and I couln't believe how well they drove.
