It would consist of a larger turbo. Something in the GT series...
Possibly with a intercooler upgrade.
Potentially with internal engine mods,
Exhaust will be required.
Software will come with the kit.

I'm guessing SEMA will be where its shown off in two weeks. I'm hoping they'll release the supercharger for the S4 at that time too.

Well, i heard that what is at sema is not necessarily waht the kit will be. But i am not positive. From what i had gathered thru the grapevine it consisted of some additional components that are not necessarily going to be part of the BT kit.
Still all speculative, but I would imagine what is at sema is pretty close to waht they are aiming for in the BT kit for the a4. Don't be suprised if its not on an a4...

Lots of great stuff going to be at SEMA.
We'll have the first B7 Oettinger kit on a white S4 avant as well as the Oetty kit on a GTI V and A3.

I'll be there the first half of the week. Leaving the morning of the 2nd probably with a horrible hangover from the party we're doing the night before.
Come by the CEC booth on the 30th, 31st or 1st and you'll find me there. Not sure what i've got planned afterwards. Probably business dinners and then gambling. :)

I think revo will be even later. I think they are sitting back to find out what the components of competitors kits are. Then maybe eurocode or someone will develop the necessary hardware and revo will write the file.. they are not on the forefront of development.

No, best guesstimate is early summer. (maybe June) They probably want to do some of their own logging when the weather is warm out as well.

Last time I spoke with APR they had not even started on the longitudinal kit yet. That was a little while back.
The kit will also come with upgraded fuel components.

Just got off the phone with APR. The gti that they have will beat a corvette. The kit includes a front mount intercooler to! The Audi kit will be out soon after the gti one. Keep you guys updated

03-28-2007, 08:04 AM

Grassmonkey
03-28-2007, 08:15 AM

But any idea to which date soon after can be applicable for?

I don’t know what corvette. But the kit for the gti will be out very soon!

So for the A4 it will be very soon + 2 weeks.
I better start saving up then!!
nadroj81
03-28-2007, 09:22 AM
maybe, but I wouldn't hold your breath. It is only on the 2 show cars. They are going to put it on a couple employee cars and they haven't even done that yet. From there they have to do some "long term" testing. since the other kits are prototypes and not actual components.
Goped220
03-28-2007, 09:29 AM
Kit price will be from around $6,000-$7,000!
flath12
03-28-2007, 11:19 AM
ouch! but not surprised
nadroj81
03-28-2007, 11:38 AM
plus a clutch, install and exhaust if you don't already have one. and and an intake. that 9k mark will show up pretty quickly.

03-28-2007, 11:56 AM
oh yea definitely, i was thinking around 10k all said and done

$43K car with ~9K invested = used E55 (faster, more comfortable and better looking).
I'll be selling my Avant next year to pick up a E63 :D

You are running a southbend clutch now? 1400 is a lot for a clutch, I wonder if that is how much Jet Jockey's was.
Goped220
03-28-2007, 05:27 PM
Apr is currently using a-spec clutch they said the ICS clutch is a good choice. No slip or chatter. It will last the life of the car. No Clue about Jet Jockey's! As for the South Bend I am waiting for it in the mail.
Oh yah South Bend can only hold 350 hp there stage 3. The stage 4 is not out yet. so You kinda have to get the ics clutch i feel!
