I know that this can very quite a bit based the size of the turbo but Im trying to find out what the highest charge temps would be from a K03 K04 before it enters the intercooler. I did some searching but no luck. Thanks.

no need to search...
buy a vag and run your own logs.
It will much better than getting numbers for members in all types of climates... [rolleyes]

logs via vag are going to be post intercooler temps

why do you want pre temps anyways?

post temp is what you should be concerned w/

I sit corrected.

when my k04 is visibly glowing red in the daylight, i'd be willing to bet the charge temps are pretty darn high, but like stated, who cares about pre-intercooler temps?

I was interested in the pre-cooler temps because I was looking at picking up marine exhaust hosing for piping but the specs I've reading rate the hosing at 500 deg. F. 500 seemed low but apparently people have been running it with no problems. If anyone has any insight into this issue please discuss.

500 sounds fine but i'd find something rated higher anyway.
