I've searched and searched for quite some time found some frontal pics but I'm looking to see what the beam pattern, and cutoff line look like on the factory non HID projectors with an HID kit in them.

I'm either going to get a kit (cheap way out) or just go for the gusto and get a set of xenon e-codes and I just wanted some pics for reference.

Thanks

i have the Serious Vision 6000K kit from LLTek in my non HID 2001 housings. i'm extremely happy with it and everyone loves them always compliments the color.. people sometimes flash me thinking im running my brights..

note*
the housings aren't completely lit up like the pic shows, cuts off more around the bulb. and the color has more of a blue tint in real life than the pics show

i don't have any pics.
there are definately pics on the board in regards to the cutoff.
but the ecodes has a higher cutoff on the driver side and dsnt have the swirls in the projector lense deteriotating the light output.

If you have the money get the ecodes, if not stick with the oem one piece's and if you have a 2 piece then the decision is yours.
Many run hid's in oem usdm spec housing without complaints.

ecode cutoff, but non-xenon housings.

thanks for the replies guys!

Sean do you have any pics showing the light output on the road, or up against a wall?

i don't have any pics but i have the RS6 hid kit in my 99.5 a4 and it is nicer than the lighting in a stock s4. the s4 cutoff is too sharp and it is way to easy to overdrive the headlights. lighting under the cutoff is identical between the two cars. i think the RS6 kit is 4300k but i may be mistaken.

yeah it's 4300k but i would upgrade the bulbs to the 5k or the 5.1k temp range so it can throw a lil color.
Living in bright big city the lights can easily be drowned out by the surrounding ambient lighting

e.van- your fogs put alot of light on the road. are those HIDs ?
and can the fogs angle be adjusted?

The fogs are just regular H1 bulbs with yellow lenses. They can be aimed, but I've got some bracket-making to do to get them right...

why would you want to do that? the cutoff keeps the light from being scattered all over the place and you would blind the hell out of oncomming traffic.
