Make it yourself, its really easy. Take the stock speaker out trace around the outside on a piece of wood then place the new speaker in the center and trace around. Cut it out and you have yourself a speaker adapter.

The top pic looks like the front adapters I used to have. The bottom pic is definately the for the rear. I also had a '99.5.

All said and done, I regreted using the front adapters as I had to modify them and they were very flimsy. I believe I could have fabbed my own and did something a little better, but I was lazy. The rears are much more simple, I would suggest just making your own. That is, unless you're lazy like me. [;)]

yep top is front, bottom pic is rear. I feel the same way. I should've made something on my own. Hell, I should've made new fiberglass door cards and just covered them in matching vinyl. Same thing w/ the rear shelf, I should just make a FG one.

i dropped the aftermarket speakers in the hole even though they didnt fit right and drilled them in(well i didnt drill it in a friend did) and now the speakers rattle alittle so i thought about redoing the rear shelf but this time with the adaptors...

i cant get a screw driver back there to get out the speakers...what tools did you guys use?

If they are rattling, just make a simple Masonite board spacer/adapter. That will help seal the round speaker in the square hole and give you some dampening.

Stubby screwdrivers are your friend...
