Really don’t want to take on a project there’s one in my area for around what I’m asking (158k miles) on Facebook but the guy doesn’t have proof of receipts for recent work he claims….

With respect, at that price point you’re only going to get a basket case that will need at least another $10k in all the maintenance items that a high mileage, unloved RS4 needs.

You can’t cheap out on the RS, it’ll only cost you more in the long run.

Picked up one 2 days ago for $26k. $15k worth of Maintence and work done to it in the past year. 121k miles. Looks pristine and drive like it also. Has a capristo exhaust also ($5600). So far very happy and glad I spent a little more.

Well then you got a gift. With that amount of maintenance in the last year and a Capristo, it should have gone for more. Best of luck with it; they’re not an easy car to live with.

No it should not have and he did not get a gift. I personally test drove the car and the seller didn’t do any maintenance on it. It was all done by the previous seller. They had it for maybe less than a month and bought it for around $22K.

You’re mostly wrong. I personally reached out to the previous owner and called all the shops to verify the work. I know the shops also as I have brought other Audis there. Everything checked out and then some. The guy who most recently had it bought it for $24,500 as that previous owner before him told me. I bought it for $1500 more. I still think I got a great deal for a perfectly running, all big maintenance items done car. Next time you should have done better homework.

Change the oil every 3-5k miles, don't skimp or defer on maintenance and you'll enjoy your ownership.

Russ, you’re right!! I was a little bummed I didn’t pick it up. The seller prior was aces too. Not sure why it took so long to sell when it was advertised on FB Marketplace.
