ABS Control Module

Is there a way to test or check the ABS Control Module in a 2016 B8.5 S4 to determine if it is still functioning or functional?
Audi says it needs to be replaced but is there a way to actually test the ABS to see if it dead or not?

Did you take it in for some kind of issue? What is the context here? Yes, there are ways to check. There are tests you can run on it to cycle it via VCDS, but you probably don’t have that. You can also go to an empty parking lot while it’s wet out and try to lock up the brakes, you don’t even need to go fast. But all that said, WHY is this coming up? Did you get a malfunction light or what?
