Is there a central locking coding option via VCDS to disable the interior trunk release button? I know the valet button does this, but then the trunk totally sealed.
I'm trying to find a balance where I can selectively control through the MMI the trunk handle to be unlocked and function like an exterior door, or remote only operation without full on valet mode.

That doesn't sound like something vcds would be able to turn off without causing other faults, but check the driver door module and see if you can do it in the long coding

Turns out Audi already thought of this and locks out the inside trunk switch when the car is locked, preventing someone from breaking into the car and popping the trunk without the fob, until the car is unlocked.
Seen a few too many smash and grab videos of cars being targeted with out of state plates, the window being smashed, trunk popped and luggage stolen.
