@ Jeremy

I finally got my C/O's in... http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98122
Just wondering what's the best way to compress the rear springs, what tool do you guys use?
We used these:
http://www.chinavendors.com/upload/cvo/product/coil-spring-compressor-0000015804-L.jpg

and they were a major PITA to get in that tight space where the rear springs are.

The problem is, is that I have to raise the ride height om the back now and its going to be damn near impossible without compressing the rear springs again...
(To be completely honest, that little wrench that comes with the kit kinda sucks.)

I would appreciate any help you might be able to offer!

Also... was I suppose to re-use the rubber lower spring perches on the back? (under the adjustable aftermarket ones?)

coker rat - you are going to have a hell of a time using those to compress the rear springs. You are either going to have to use the VAG Spring tool or drop the subframe. I have done both and they take about the same ammount of time.

hmmm. on the original install we did "drop the sub frame" but that was quite a job without air tools and a lift. I bought a hydraulic spring compressor only to find it was way too big to use. The only info I found on the Vag unit said it was in the 1000$ range....

We too drop the subframe in the rear. It's really the way to do it.

Responding to your PM now...
