I just picked up a 2001 a4q tip and when I brake right before I come to a stop the car sort of shakes a little, then settles and is smooth again. It sort of feels like when you have aftermarket motor mounts in your car and you're idling and it vibrates.
also if I slow down slow enough it sometimes wont do it. weird.

think anything is wrong or is it somewhat normal?

i think that is normal, mine dose it when the engine is cold. But i do get some vibration through the steering wheels when in drive at a light.

well it doenst do it when I'm driving and I brake, only when I'm just about to come to a stop. So I could be wrong, but I don't think it's the brakes.

Yeah, I've sorta gotten used to it at this point.

now my problem is running too lean CEL code P0171. I guess a new MAF is on the way.

Ahh well, it begins!

Try cleaning the maf before you get a new one, i had that code, cleaned the maf and it has not been a problem since.
