My 2010 has been absolutely trouble free since I got it 3 years ago, but after it sat for 4 days, I just went to start it, and no dice. I have it in neutral, clutch and brake depressed, insert key and all the electronics come on just fine, push the key in and it attempts to start but doesn’t. It sounds as if the start is just turning and turning, and will continue to do so until the key is pushed in again.
Hoping for some direction on where to start. Battery and starter seem fine. Haven’t had a chance to pull the plugs yet. I do know that about a month before this, the oil was low, so I topped it off with 4 quarts of the recommended amsoil, before realizing that may have been a bit too much and I was actually going to an appointment to get the oil changed when this happened. In the month after topping off, I’ve driven it a total of ~75 miles and it has been starting and driving just without any issues. Hoping my stupidity didn’t do serious damage.
