hey, im at a high altitude 3333ft above sea level, and my boost gauge reads -1 all the time, is there any way to adjust the guage for my higher altitude?

Ummm, I don't think that has to do with the altitude buddy... It is the gauge... Most VDO's do that and mine WAS at 0 when I bought it but over time it now reads -1...

yeah mine reads -1 too.... So does that mean it is boosting a pound more than it says?

i remember thinking the same thing months ago, but if i remember CORRECTLY, the reading once the car is correct, just not the reading whilest the car is off. mine does the same thing.

I just got a little screw driver and started moving things inside the vdo through where the light goes and eventually found the spring, or whatever it is and set the needle to zero

mine has always been at -1 when the car is off.

you know whats weird, i took it out and brought it upstairs, to work on it.... and wham, sitting at 0...

i wonder if its just the angle im looking at it from that makes it look like its at -1...

There is a reason VDO's are cheap... Good but cheap... And if you have the gauge sitting on the right of you it should read higher...
