umm it is strict here but i mean theres a chance they might go easy on you since your from LV if they allow it there... My dads a sherrif and he told me that usualy when they see people from other states they see their lisences they take into consideration that their rules arent the same as ours and they might give you a warning...

Next time you go out, look at how many people don't use front plates. There's a shitload in California, especially in Orange County.
I bet 80% of the users on the Socal Forum don't use front plates either. I took off my front plate in June and I've passed tons of cops who don't give me a second glance.

I have ran no front plates for years in Cali both NORCAL and SOCAL.
Its up to the cop that sees you. SOCAL cops tend to find any reason to pull over a moded import car. No front plate, no seat belt, etc...
If you do get stopped its a fix it ticket that you will have to get signed off and go back to a court in SOCAL to show proof. Its all up to you. Play it safe and put er' on or gamble.

A lot of it comes down to the way you drive. If you do other things to draw attention to yourself, you will start getting tagged for things like loud exhaust, tint and plates. I'm pretty low profile on the freeway, so we'll see how long my tint and no front plate thing lasts.

i've gotten 3 front plate tickets and 2 tint tickets. it's 10 bucks each time. I think i have a few more weeks to get my recent one checked off. lol bugger....

Same here... I got 3 no license plate tickets on my old car (rsx-s). I'd ziptie the plate, get the ticket signed off at CHP and remove the plate again... Same with tint.
Same with the S4, my first mods were the filler plate and then tint[:D]
Plus... not having front license plate in LA actually helps in something... at least you won't be receiving pictures. BEWARE, LA is filled with cameras.

Hey Recaro... the cameras snap your rear plate. At least they do here in NORCAL.

Hmmm... maybe I get lucky because: 1. I'm white. 2. I drive a stock looking Audi. 3. I'm in the OC where rich people don't follow rules (I'm definitly not rich but I blend in well)

^^^Yeah, I guess if you're white, you don't have to follow any rules!! What a joke.
I've had two B7's both with 20% tint all around and no front plate. never been hassled once and I'm not exactly professional looking either. If it's German, they won't hassle, if it's Japanese, they will. <----- Speaking of the cars, not the drivers.
