This is the second time I saw this code during reading. Both times they were classified as inactive. No CEL ever.
I found out about this code when I was playing with my toy: an ELM 327 OBD II. A reading of DTC showed this inactive code:
16448 [0x004040] Archive (inactive)
P000A00: "A" Camshaft Position Slow Response (Bank 1)
Status bits: 1
Priority: 2
Frequency: 11
Unlearning index: 255
Odometer: 119729 km
Date, time: 2023.04.15 10:17:47
Engine RPM: 957 rpm
Calculated engine load value: 14.51 %
Vehicle speed: 41 km/h
Engine coolant temperature: 62 ℃
Engine oil temperature: 13 ℃
Barometric pressure: 102 kPa
Klemme 30 voltage: 14
Paramteric values: 20 96 15 11 0E 02 16 B7 10 82 16 B9 07 80 11 ED 17 10 FA 4E 16 BA 0B 89 16 BC 02
Status: Test failed since last DTC clear, Test not completed during this operation cycle
Cleared the code, and one week later, read DTC again and found same code - inactive again, on 2023.06.30, at 122 k km.
Should I worry? Does it auger badly to some dark future of the engine?
Engine is 1.8 CJEB - gen 3
