View Full Version : Rear tail light keeps going out

My fuse keeps blowing. mind you this happened with the old tail lights and these are the new tail lights and its doing the same thing. anyone had this happen to them before or know what to do.

i put a bigger fuse in and it starts smoking when i turn my lights on

i would take the bulbs out one at a time to see if you can find out which side affects it

i cant because the bulbs are leds

dont have a camera right now thats working but they do look sick, not ricey. from a distance looks like oem with leds

Did you have the LED lights in there before? Or are these the tails with the LED's built in? Also you NEVER want to put in a higher power fuse... NEVER... End of story... If you had the LED's in before, I would take them out...

Because you can cause some serious damage to the car, (i.e. fire.)

It might not seem like it can cause a fire but the circuit was designed to only pull so much current until a fuse breaks... If the current goes above and beyone due to a higher amperage fuse, it could cause fires... That is the entire purpose of a fuse it to protect the circuit from things like that...
