So i just bought a 2016 S6 Prestige, and among other things, it has lane assist.
on a 12 hour drive yesterday, all was good, until about 2 hours from home, the LAW light started flashing intermittently. not like on/off in a steady pattern, but blinking fast, slow, slow, fats, etc... randomly.
i tried turning it off using the button on the end of the blinker switch to turn it off, but that had no effect.
i also tried the menu in the MMI, but there was no option to turn the feature off completely, only to change the amount of vibration in the steering wheel and warning.
google has gotten me little results.
i did wash the car today, and got all the bugs off, and tried to clean everything, as the few google results say that might've been the problem, but that didn't help. is there a specific camera somewhere that might do the trick?
or are there any other ideas?
i'd be totally fine with turning the feature completely off, as it is not something i would use, but i can't figure out how to do so, other than the button on the end of the turning signal stalk, and that seems not to be working.
(side note: so far, l love this car!)
