My old OEM blades, the rubber was brittle and hard, so when it wiped it made a horrible sound against the glass, and it left alot of streaks in the wipe. So now that its finally starting to rain again around here, i figured its time to replace these blades.

I chose some Rain-X Latitude blades, picked them up at the local PepBoys. The blades are curved for your pleasure, I went with 22" for the driver side and 21" for the passenger side.

It rests right at the pillar. But dont worry, nothing hits.

It wasn't rainnig now, so i turned the hose on the car and let the new blades do their thing, and as far as i can tell by that little test, these things work awesome.

1. Super quiet
2. They cleaned up all the watery mess nicely.

So in Conclusion = [up]

**These things must be brand new because i cant find any product info on them online, even at Rain-x's website. And those pictures above are from my camera phone. First photos ive actually taken with the phone. Gotta say, im impressed. [up]

they are Valeo Ultimate blades that have been rebranded. i've had them for just over two years now.

they work much better with a coat of RainX or Aquapel. otherwise they squeegee the windshield so well that they stick and skip.

Good to know.
BTW Rain-X has a mail-in rebate offer for these as well; buy 1, get 1 free.

You have to buy two, but they will rebate you the cost of the 2nd one.

Offer expires: March 31 2007
