I am having 034Motorsport Density Line Control Arms installed as preventative maintenance. My S6 is at 85k miles/9+ years, and I know the stock arm bushings are worn and may die soon.
It started with me tracking a noise when cold which ultimately was the sway bar frame bushings, but after inspecting, the control arm bushings didn't look so hot so I am having them replaced.
I know I'm not the best at searching but only could really find a couple threads where there were installed on an RS7 and A6 or there is some anecdotal evidence that people installed them and they are "good".
Does anyone who has installed them on an S6/S7 (air suspension) have any more details post installation.
Does it just seem like the same as stock replacements? Better than stock? In what way? Handling feel. NVH etc.
I'm specifically asking about S6/S7 since the RS7 air suspension would be slightly different and the A6 is steel and I'm not exactly sure how/what/if the control arms behave differently with the different suspension.
I see in the thread below that jinetics said it made a noticeable difference on his RS7

Tough to find lots of detail, but try AZ thread "Anyone running 034 motorsport CONTROL ARM KIT ?". Ericw. comments in post #16 he has them. Maybe if he sees this he may provide further information.

Idk if you already sprang for them, but urotuning just recently put up a whole front control arm kit from Sidem for like $560 on their site. I went with an OEM style because I wanted to use TGKs lowering forks and they don't work with 034

Thanks
Car is back.
Need more seat time to really decide if there is any noticeable handling difference.
Mostly highway on the way home.
Does seem less "rubbery" (if that's a word) over bumps and if anything feels "normal" like new which, if nothing else, is good.

I had the full 034 kit installed on my S7. I needed lower arms so went ahead and did the whole thing at once. I've had the kit on for over a year. I love it, the driver feedback is way better, I can drive a little more spirted as a result. For me it is a better driving experience, I like more feel in the steering wheel than what comes stock, the kit fixed my issues. I'm not doing track attacks in this boat either.

I put the 034 track density line control arms on my A6 about 3 years ago. I have been extremely happy with the way they tightened up the handling of my A6. No regrets!!!

Did they discontinue the track density line? or is it a special request item, since I no longer see it listed on their website.

They still have the track spec uppers; part of the upper/lower kit, or by themselves. In the kit below, you have to use the drop-down to select “track spec”,

I have the adjustable camber correcting option (not installed yet)

Ok.
I thought the track spec was just the "add neg camber for tracked vehicles" I didn't know if it had a different Durometer bushing too. They make no mention of it either there or in the rebuild kit.

I thought I saw back in the day a dropdown for "street density" and "track density" for the non-adjustable arms right on their website but I don't see it any more.

Maybe I am thinking about something else...motor mounts perhaps?
I see the 3.0T motor mounts have a 65 Durometer Track mount and a 50 Durometer Street mount. That might be what I was thinking. Sorry.
