Q5 vcds change from no amp to amp

As the title says. I am adding an amp to my base system and I need to configure the car to having an amp. I just purchased a hex v2. But cant find the how to for making the change. Any help greatly appreciated.

Q5, but what year? Is it Concert or MMI? You're adding "an amp", or you're adding a "J525 amp"? For the standard or B&O sound system?
