Howdy y'all! Bought my first Audi 11 days ago at CarMax, it's a 2016 2.0 w/46k miles. The interior and exterior is in pristine condition, so I feel pretty good about my purchase. I tested one 2018 3.0 and, while I loved the power and Apple CarPlay options, it's previous owner(s) did NOT take as good of care as the person who owned mine before I bought it. I've still got a few weeks under the 30 day CarMax return policy, so I'm checking their site regularly for any 3.0 that comes in reasonably close to my price range, but I don't have high hopes.
I took the car back to their service dept. 4 days ago, as I heard a squeak after letting off the brakes and letting the car roll that sounded to me like maybe something was rubbing on the brakes as the car was rolling at low speed. Maybe brakes, maybe something mis-aligned. They determined it was the brakes, parts showed up Wed. afternoon, they replaced them Thu afternoon, in their typical slow fashion. The tech drove the car after the brake job was done and still hears the squeak, so they are going to do more diagnostics today.
Not sure what the heck it can be, I hope they figure it out, and regardless I'm not going to be out any money since they have to repair any internal issues gratis for the first 90 days.
