Hey all,

I've been having some misfires lately and I am trying to buy OEM ignition coil kit and I checked FCP Euro and I came across this kit:
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/audi-ignition-coil-service-kit-s4-s5-q5-ngk-06e905115ebr3 (bremi ignition coils + bosch finewire platinum spark plugs) (pre-gapped)

AutoZone only sells these kits with Duralast which are a bit of a hit or miss really. Should I go ahead and buy the FCP EURO kit or do I go all the way and get it with double platinum bosch spark plugs?

What should I do? I have heard that Bremi is OEM but I'm not so sure about that. Is that true? Despite that, I have heard mixed reviews about Bremi and I am feeling a bit hesitant.

Please suggest me a good kit that you might see selling on FCP Euro (can't let go of that lifetime warranty) and let me know.

Thanks!

Figure out which cylinders are misfiring and change the coil packs around. If the misfire follows the new coil pack location then you have a bad coil pack. If not then a new coil pack will not fix your problem. You might just simply need new spark plugs. The coils are pretty hardy, mine are all original at 227,300 miles.

APR also has decent coils from what i hear as well. Don't have them personally but know a few people who got them and hear they seem to work fine at affordable price. who knows about longevity yet.

I have APR coils. I did change the plugs at the same time. I only ever had issues with getting off the throttle in sport mode just as the car shifted and it went into limp mode. Only happened three times. After the plugs and coil change, I felt no difference. The limp mode issue hasn't returned. I'm actually more impressed with putting the car on Liqui Moly. Car is so smooth and the engine is quieter. Even the timing chain rattle is less after sitting.
