What are the outside temperatures ? What is the temperature set on the climate control ? Have you tried setting it to LO and checking again ?

Entirely possibly you are simply low on refrigerant. Take it to a shop and ask them to check things. Does not have to be the dealer, does not have to be even a specialty shop. Any shop in your area that you trust can hook up gauges and check pressures.

R-134A is a poor excuse for a refrigerant, its only saving grace is being ozone friendly. Being off in pressures just slightly can throw off the cooling effects.

Mine was not working well several years ago. The dealership added 6 or 8 grams of freon and it has been good since.

User Audisthesia had a similar experience.

I recently had this same issue. Put a little R134a in, been cold for a couple weeks now.

And as you probably already know, putting in too much will also cause it not to blow cold air.

About a year and a half ago my '13 was suddenly blowing warm air. I drove home, did some quick online research, and surmised it was a bad a/c pressure sensor located in the front of the engine bay. I have an Audi dealer less than 4 miles from my house and they had the sensor in stock. I think it was under $30 online (not from Audi) but I needed it immediately and paid the dealer more (under $60?). Installed at home in short order. Took longer to remove the shroud over the front of engine bay than to replace the part.

I don't have the details anymore but pretty sure this is it: https://parts.audiusa.com/p/Audi__A6/Pressure-Sensor-Switch-AIR-CONDITIONING-AC-Refrigerant-HVAC/65867675/4H0959126B.html

Not certain that this is your issue and/or solution. Do your own research/testing before purchasing and installing this.

Same symptoms over here it was the AC pressure switch in my case.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230406/ca44f391b37904028bfbc9519d356d05.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230406/8c785e42652441d82ff967bc837d0cd3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230406/d49208d0cf467705d15ea7caf7e48a9d.jpg

These vehicles seem sensitive to having the correct refrigerant charge. Both of my C7s made a bubbling noise when the AC was running and getting them charged to the proper spec fixed it. There were no diagnostic codes.

I had a puncture in the A/C condensor and also didn't get any codes. Probably a rock made it through the grille is all I can guess. Hard to know what the problem is with your car since you don't know any history so just start by having the pressure checked/refilled and go from there. Make sure they use UV dye.

The condensor was replaced when a deer hit my car. The body shop said the AC is charged. I took it back twice. I noticed when it starts it will be cold for a short time then it will just blow warm. I turn the AC button off and on and turn the temp up and then to LO. Nothing. I thought I noticed when it was blowing cold that the passenger side was warmer. It is going to my actual mechanic next week and he will put it on the scanner and we will go from there I guess. It was working fine before the deer hot me and the body shop repaired the damage. Looking for some help

Just an fyi, I scanned my car, zero codes. EricW also had no codes. Mine was a little low on refrigerant. So don’t count on there being a code as there may not be one.

To replace the pressure switch shown above do you need to vacuum the system out? high pressure limit

Negative. Remove dead part, replace with new part. Takes longer to remove the engine bay shroud covering the part in question than to replace the part itself. Super easy.
