Hi, I just bought the VCDS to do some mods to my car. So far I have the seatbelt chime disabled. Anyone have info on how to program the car to be able to lock the doors with the engine running on a B8.5 2015 Audi S4
Thanks

My wife’s gli you can’t lock the doors with the button on the door unless you’re in the car with the door shut. We were leaving in my car the other day and she had to go back in the house to lock her car with the fob. Some of the things they do make absolutely no sense.

Use the actual key blade in the slot on the door.

Use the actual key blade in the slot on the door. The blade key works, albeit not as slick. Subscribed in case there's a clever solution out there.

Use the actual key blade in the slot on the door.Low key solved an issue I've had with this car for a long time. Always hated I couldn't lock the door with the engine on.

You can indeed lock the car with the engine running. I do it all the time. You can't however, unlock the doors with it running.
1) Wind down the window open door and step out.
2) Now reach back in through the open window after closing said door.
3) Lock doors using door lock button on driver side door (inside button)
4) Pull one touch window button.
5) After watching window go all the way up suddenly realize you left the key in the center console or it fell out of your pocket.
6) Curse Audi for being stupid and cheap for not allowing you to lock the door with the engine running.
You're welcome.
