View Full Version : Help me find what tune I have

Hey guys, recently purchased a '15 S4 that is 100% tuned. No doubt. As far as I can tell it is a Stage 1 tune(the pulley and the belt appear to be oem). Besides getting in contact with the previous owner, is there anyway to figure out which tune I have? I would even go as far as buying all the tuning cables to see if one would connect to my VIN(if that is even a thing). Please give me some advice as I really don't want to pay to have the car flashed back to stock and then pay another $1k to get a tune. Thanks!!

get in contact with the most popular tuning companies and ask them...

What are you seeing that makes you think it’s tuned? Obviously you think it is faster than stock but are there any glaring differences besides that? Shift points, rev limit, etc?

You probably only want a tune from one of the big 3/4 tuners out there, so start with 034, IE, APR and EPL ( who is now pretty dormant ). If it's none of them, I'd flash it back to stock and go 034 (That's where I am going if I ever need to flash over my EPL tune ).

Shoot us an email at [email protected] with your VIN and we can let you know if the car had our software.


You probably only want a tune from one of the big 3/4 tuners out there, so start with 034, IE, APR and EPL ( who is now pretty dormant ). If it's none of them, I'd flash it back to stock and go 034 (That's where I am going if I ever need to flash over my EPL tune ).
