Power steering has left chat

So was driving one day and got the dreaded power steering message along with some other lights but steering fault code was C10AD29 as I looked more into I was pretty sure the rack was bad this is my only way of transportation so I've been driving around with no power steering for a few days yes I know it says not to but it's my only bank and forth to work which is maybe a five minute drive from my house but I did go ahead and buy a new rack but just came I'm 2 days ago but was wondering if i could just swap over the modules instead of replacing the entire rack and I'm about 500 miles over warranty so I doubt they will fix it at the dealership

if your close on miles might be worth talking to audi dealer and see if your close enough to cover. sometimes they will do it for a good reputation
