I think this one would be better suited for people that wanted a smaller foam gun to get in more difficult areas. I've seen other foam guns online where the gun and bottle are big and bulky, but hold more wash solution. Plus, those guys are quite expensive ranging in price from 50 to 80. Definitely send me one if you start stocking them.

Phil,
Just got my foam gun you sent the other day and tried it out last night around 9pm. Can't thank you enough for suggesting it. I think it's great and creates good lubrication for a the real wash. You only need a bit of car wash soap and set it to mist. Works AWESOME. My brother and I were thoroughly impressed.

Jokas,
Try it out, you won't be sorry. The only thing I'm worried about with this gun is tossing it on the pavement like I normally do with my cheaper attachments and accidently cracking the car wash soap dispenser/container.

Does a typical wash require refilling the soap reservoir?

is2scooby,
I've only used the foam gun once and that was to try it out the other night with Meguiar's Gold Class car wash which is pretty concentrated. Put no more than an ounce (which seems like a lot) in the reservoir and set the nozzle to mist. I went around the entire car (my gf's TSX) 2x, and could have easily have gone over it a full 3x if it wasn't 9 - 10 pm at night. I was really only looking to lubricate the car as much as possible since I hadn't washed my gf's car since Labor Day. Followed the spray down with a good wash and drying. Since it's was late, I couldn't really do much else, but my brother and I were definitely amazed at how good the nozzle was. Try it out, you won't be disappointed...

LOL you should see my car, I have been taking care of my family for two weeks. All or one of them has been sick. I ended up with a 102 fever last night. I feel like a steam roller went over me. Needless to say i have not had time to deal with my car. J will have to buck up and wash it. :P
The one i use is here.

Foaming is not really adjustable the spray pattern is, its not like the professional more expensive ones....but its good for the enthusiast.

These are now back in stock. E-mail me if you were interested.
do you still carry these?
i have a Gilmour Foamaster i bought from you, used it a couple times and i don't like it much.
it wastes too much soap and it doesn't "mist" the soap (it gushes lots of water with soap) which really doesn't hold on the car very long. i've tried several soaps (adam's, optimium and perls). the adam's foamed the most, but i get too much water along with the soap.. my guess it's best to use this foam gun with a power washer..
i'd like to try this gun instead.

Well, for $100+ I'd expect it to be much better...I'd be interested in something in back down in the $20 range like this first one, personally...

i have the uber gun (or gilmore foam) whatever it's called with all the attachments. you can get just the foam gun for $60, $100 includes the sprayer and bunch of other fittings.
it's a great foam gun, but again it's probably better to be used with high pressure hose like a power washer.. i think they should of made a different nozzle so it mists the soap for those that don't use a power washer so you get more foam than water.
the only downside is you will waste more soap without high pressure since you gotta crank up the dial to get it to foam correctly, that's about it.. gets expensive when you buy soap that is $10-12 for 9oz bottle lol. great gun other than that.

CG Citrus is a high concentrate though - 16 oz a bottle, 1 oz does 4 gallons. Would imagine the about 0.5 oz in one of these covers a car a few times?

Correct. Unless the car has been through hell and back literally.. Its tough getting all that hellfire and brimestone off the car..
