Hello guys.
while redoing the brakes - got myself in problem, the rear brake piston came out. I pressed the parking brake when caliper was out while i was using VCDS to go in service mode for brake replacement. (basically forgot the caliper was out both me and my dad were working on it)
What is the best method to get the piston back in - there is no fluid leak but the piston is just wobbling around. Can i use some type of caliper tool to get it back in or is there any other special tool. .
Any advice will be helpful.
Thanks
2016 RS7

So decided remove the caliper and rebuilt it. Need to get the parts for it; including the screw rod that pushes the piston.
Will Audi has internal caliper parts or any other supplier. Or should i buy use caliper and replace the parts with it.
It is 2016 rs7 (non ceramic brakes) - do s7 or a7 (C7.5)have same rear brakes; parts may be easier to find; if so. Thanks

Just came back from Audi dealership so they were not able to find the bolt and the head that pushes the piston in and out. It is also not included with the motor. Does anyone know if this part can be purchased separately or it has to come with the whole caliper - Audi dealership did not have an answer.
See pic of parts i need.

oof!

Best of luck in your endeavor. Might be worth sourcing a set of calipers from eBay or something?

Rear calipers are pretty universal across Audis line up. Many models have the same ones. I think it would be best to find a used replacement caliper.
