No, you cannot use VCDS to run an output test; they are not active/noise canceling mounts. More info on post #9 if you want it: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/879109-Testing-engine-motor-mounts

Are you concerned they are bad or on the way out? Symptoms you notice?

Are you concerned they are bad or on the way out? Symptoms you notice?Ya not sure, when i pull car out of garage in morning after warm up sometimes as of late feels (for lack if better term) like it bounces into gear, once in a while when coming to a stop when it goes into first feel more abrupt than use to....not sure if my description makes sense or not but. Doesn't happen all the time but noticing it and i know bad motor mount could be the issue.

This would be a judgement call without actually looking at the mount. You could open the hood and start the car. While holding the brake, very important lol, put it in drive and give it gas. Watch the engine and see how much it lifts up on the pass side. If it comes up quite a bit with a little throttle, the mount is most likely torn.
Again, this is judgemental because a little to me may be a lot to someone else. Best bet is to pull off the plastic shield on the bottom and just look at the mount and see if it is wet or visibly torn. Pass side is easy to look at, driver side not so much.

When my motor mounts went, I felt a lot of vibration and interior cabin noise . The car was sounding " rough" for lack of a better word. While sitting in the car I was getting a lot of noise
