View Full Version : Stock S4 ride height versus stock B8 A4
I recently upgraded to a '16 S4 and I kept my '12 A4 around for several weeks while I worked to sell it. During this time, I put my A4 winter wheel setup on the S4 (because it came with summer tires) and I noticed that the S4 ride height is slightly higher than my '12 A4 S-Line Plus with the same wheels/tires. Does anybody know the ride stock height for the B8.5 and other B8/B8.5 models?

A4 1BA (a-standard) wheel center up to wheel arch on the front should be ~391mm. It should be about 23mm less for A4 1BE (a-sport) and S4 1BD (s-sport). Audi doesn't have any measurements in the workshop manual for the rear for B8.

What are your fender to ground measurements on both? What size tires? My 13 s4 is right at 27 with stock 18s and 245 40s

It was pure observation, and, unfortunately, I recently sold the A4 so I'm not able to get any measurements on it. This was comparing a 17 wheel with 225/55 tires on it - my winter setup. I have them on now and can measure the S4 tomorrow.
