Anyone ever had this code before: p017c ? Is it a sensor?

It does. I think its pointing to coolant temp sensor. But coolant appears to be within range 190F-210F. Coolant levels are also normal. Its almost like the car thinks its out of range even though its not

Check the Engine temperature control sensor - G694
It is burried low on the passenger's side head, probably quite covered and difficult to reach.

The car DOES think it’s out of range but it’s just a sensor that has gone bad and isn’t reading the vehicle parameters right. Replace the sensor and all should be fine.

The car DOES think it’s out of range but it’s just a sensor that has gone bad and isn’t reading the vehicle parameters right. Replace the sensor and all should be fine.

Hi, do you possibly have a picture or a diagram for me to navigate this part? Or what parts should I remove to be able to see this sensor clearly?

if you look up the part number on audi dealer parts website, you'll get some diagrams of what it's connected to and what related parts exist if it's a component to something larger
