Brakes - pads and rotors - Firestone or BrakeCheck?

Just curious to know if anyone has used brake check or Firestone or Midas or any other chain type of place to do their brakes.

...why? They're not going to be familiar with the procedure of scraping/saving the pad shims and if you're also trusting them to source replacement parts (pads/rotors/sensors), good luck.

There are a couple independent German shops in Houston who can address all of this.
