Is there anyone here with a A7 with code: 1BE factory sports suspension using Bilstein B8s gas struts with the stock 1BE springs?
How is the ride height and is the B8 a perfect fit for the 1BE cars? Are you able to share some pictures and a short review including wear and tear if any? Thank you.

I had B8s on my TT RS and they were great.. def a firm ride but high performing. Ride height would be determined by the springs, and I wouldn't reuse stock ones. B8s are made to be used with lowering springs.

I think that Bilstein offers a B4 shock that is made specifically for the factory sport suspension spring.

Check the B6 also. I think it’s same height, but a bit firmer than b4. Call Bilstein USA customer service.

I think the B6’s with factory sport suspension could be a really nice upgrade that’s comfortable but very well damped. I’ve had the B4’s for Sport Suspension on Eibach springs after having the OE sport suspension and it was not bad but slightly over sprung/under damped.

THIS
I am currently running B4 sport calibration with Eibach and I find the ride and performance to be okay but not amazing. I am going to upgrade to B8 shocks (already bought just need to install them) for improved handling and better match with my lowering springs. I recommend if you want to keep the stock springs do the B6 shocks. If you are planning on doing B4 shocks, IMO just keep the stock if they are in good condition.

B4 is for stock replacement, to be used with stock springs (there are two versions, one for standard and one for sport suspension)
B6 is a Heavy Duty shock, much stiffer than stock or B4, and to be used with stock vehicle HEIGHT/ springs.
B8 is valved the SAME as B6, but with a shorter shock body for lowering springs (I mean aftermarket, NOT the lower stock sport springs). That way, you're not riding on the internal bump stops.
B6 and B8 ride HARD. Amazing control, yes, and smooth on the highway, but a little harsh around town. You WILL feel every nook and cranny of the road below 60-70 mph.
But for maximum control at super high speeds (above 70mph) the B6 and B8 can't be beat. They're just not family car/ wife friendly at around-town speeds. I had B6 on 3 cars...

This is AWESOME info. I had B8s and hated them in the winter because the fluid got thicker in the cold and they rode harder than in summer.

Mine were on my B5 A4. I switched to Koni's and was significantly happier.

That's interesting. Can you elaborate?
How was the ride?
If I need new shocks, I'll probably just go with B4s since they have a version for the s-line/sport springs.

On the B8 shocks, they were fine in the summer and had awesome performance. Come winter, the fluid would stiffen enough the ride was more akin to 3/4 ton truck with no load. It was HARD. I had Vogtland progressive rate lowering springs too, but those I liked and kept with the Koni's.
After a few years, one of the front shocks failed and I had had enough of them, so I went with Koni Sport (yellow) shocks and the difference was night and day. The ride was smooth, but responsive and the winter ride was much nicer without much summer compromise. I was also running dedicated winter and summer tires on that car back then too.
Today on my C7, I'd either go with Koni Sports again or Bilstein B4s. Ride comfort is more important now than aggressive responsiveness, especially since I still live in a cold(ish) environment.

I had the B8s on my S4 and they were noticeably harder. On the C7 I swapped out the standard suspension for the Eibach B4 sport combo. I barely noticed a difference beyond rode height.

Been doing some research on the lowest stock springs: 1BV sline suspension. Am trying to get mine lowered another 10mm from 1BE to 1BV springs. Would anyone here know if 1BV is equal to the Eibach prokit springs as per link? https://eibachshop.com/index.php?p95,eibach-pro-kit-springs-audi-a7-sportback
Would a kind soul here with the 1BV Sline sport suspension option be able to share you chassis code here so i could order the right parts from my parts stockist? apparently there are too many weight classes of springs that it would be impossible to identify the right spring part number without a full chassis code. Any one with a6/a7 3.0TFSI could help me out?
These come from an A6 TDI, i am not sure if applicable to the A7 3.0TFSI.
S-Line Suspension (30mm drop):
Front Springs (1BV 0JL)
8K0 411 105 CR coil spring, orange/grey/blue/blue (S-Line)
4G0 413 031 M shock absorber, Tenneco (S-Line)
Rear Spring (1BV 0YM)
8K0 511 115 CQ coil spring, blue/grey/green/green (S-line)
4G5 513 035 D shock absorber for sport, 1BE (Sport)
My current codes/options for STRUTS, Front and Rear Springs.
1BE = Sports suspension/shock absorption
0YM = Weight range 12 installation control only, no requirement forecast
0JJ = Weight category front axle weight range 9
