Looks really good and i guess the only positive thing that came of this was a learning experience and knowing my engine is that more reliable. Maybe i wont have as much valve noise.... who knows ;)

I couldnt resist to paint the iM and VC Gloss black w/ the rebuilt silver head, it looks freat, but i guess the inner audi ricer came out in me

I woulndt have to worry about heating issues w/ the IM painted black, right?

Thanks for tuning in. Ill be putting it back together this weekend, weather permitting

looks good man!! no I wouldn't worry too much about retaining heat with the paint. if anything, it's minimal.

to be safe, treat it like a new car. 500 mi maybe? might wanna do an oilchange at that point. I've only had a bottom end rebuild, never a top end so idon't know reall yif the procedure is the same.

Originally 375 they charged me 200 including valve seals for 4 valves.

take that bitch on the interstate, you can cover 500 miles in a day at 65 (3000rpms)
