2012-2013 Audi TTRS

It's been *years* since I've been in the Audi game, and I'm in the market for car I can take out on nice days in Phoenix and maybe get back into autocrossing/ track driving with.

I'm pretty set on a 2012-2013 TTRS at this point. The color doesn't matter, but I'd like something that's fairly stock with lower miles. Budget is around $35k but I can wiggle that as necessary for the right car.

Called the dealer (i'm in the market too) they have a deposit on it from another buyer and they claim it is Sepang. No window sticker available.

Nogaro wasn’t offered on the ttrs, it’s sepang which is a great color too.

Nogaro wasn’t offered on the ttrs, it’s sepang which is a great color too.

If this is the car from Audi Reading (PA), the car is an Audi Exclusive with custom color option. The window sticker was posted as well, it's confirmed to be Nogaro

They've definitely followed the current trend of any other desirable car.. Couple years ago could've had a decent example for mid 20s.

If you take a look at BaT or Cars&Bids for data points, 60k miles with an audi exclusive color for 40k is bang on BaT pricing.

Now we just need the market to realized that Audi made the UrS4 and UrS6 with a 5 cylinder turbo :)

Might consider selling my Nimbus gray 2013 TTRS with 19k.. I wouldn’t take less than 55k for it. Or else I’d just keep it

Ohlins coilovers (recently installed less than 1k ago
RB racing UK J hook front rotors 380mm 2 piece floating disc larger than OEM with spacing brackets. Utilizes OEM calipers. >1k mi
Track pads- Hawk/ carbotech pads and rotors have less than 1k mi on them.
Goodridge Stainless brake lines all around
Brand new RBF fluid
034 rear sway bar

Maint -
Oil changes every 3k with 5w-40 Joe Gibbs racing oil.
Just performed valve carbon cleaning less than 5k ago. At that time I deleted the intake flaps and installed the updated revised Injectors as a preventative measure.
Coolant recently replaced.
Car has zero leaks of any kind. This car is fully sorted and dialed in. It does not need a single thing. If I keep it, the next service I would do would be Haldex filter/fluid and perhaps transmission and diff flush as preventative.

You want something rare, elegant, raw, a bit more analogue in terms of interior with dials and buttons, and potential for speed then is the TTRS for you. Not to mention last of the manual 5 pots, first revival of the 5 pot since late 80s and, I know a collector would want in the future.

Worth mentioning, I have a Full turbo kit on my shelf for this car that can be included with the sale.
Built by Iroz, it’s a borgwarner EFR 7163 w/ full turbular manifold, DP, inlet pipe, oil lines etc. I was going to install it but honestly the car is plenty fast as it is. I also didn’t have the heart to install the kit on a 1-29 ever made rare gem of a car like this.

I have all the stock parts for this car, if I don’t get close to asking I can revert back to stock-ish. That being said,all the mods I have done have made this car better for a more OEM+ feel.

I was the one who bought the car at Audi reading, weird how I found this thread trying to figure out what color the car is. It looked like nogaro to me from the start. The build sticker in the trunk near the spare has a bunch of dashes for the paint code. I called Audi and they said it’s sepang blue pearl effect so I’m confused.

Awesome! Glad it went to an enthusiast. I’d chat audi with the vin to confirm. But, a former salesman from Audi Reading confirmed it is noggy to me.

Yeah loving the car, came from a mk6 golf r. Confirmed with Audi it’s nogaro thanks for the info. Might have to call Audi customer service to see how rare it is.
