Hey guys, is it realistic to think that the oil and awful smell can be removed from the foam under the rear seat of my C 76.

Foam is a petroleum product as is the oil...

Maybe its time to get custom seats made for your ride . . . .
A good shop should be able to get the leather look close enough if it can't be cleaned and they can recommend a quality foam that will be more comfortable.
Or maybe its time to just clean the car up, remove your go fast parts, toss in an air freshener and go trade it to cut your losses.

At this point, I think I’m pulling the leather off seat frame/foam, pulling seat back out of car as it has oil on the very bottom, and claiming insurance.
If the company replaces rear seats in total, I’ve already stripped and trashed everything else that came in contact with the oil, except for (1) some plastic and wiring which is cleaned an re-wrapped, (2) trunk sides and trunk cover trim, which have been pulled, steamed and cleaned. But, I’d likely have insurance replace them too if I make the claim. (3) ordered new trunk floor (arriving soon).

Are the foam parts the same from standard to sport seats?
If so and you find a Nougat Brown Perforated rear leather in good condition, I would be interested in that part. I see that rear bottom seats can be had for around $200 from salvage yards.

I'll ask... what did you put in your car?

The OP was transporting used oil for recycling and shit happened. It spilled heavily into the trunk.

I think the FRAME is the same, but foam differs based on standard versus sport and comfort for the rear. Sport is unique in the front.

Valpo - well stated. Old oil from Q7 and A6 splashed all over the trunk despite that I had a sealed container inside another container and have done my own oil for most of the last 35ish years!!
These two oil changes will easily run $7-$10k.
The rear back is $2k without leather. Bottom is $700 without leather. Each of the major trunk parts cost about $300. Padding, insulation, clips, cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning, etc…
That said, I’m healthy, my family is good and I don’t live in Florida. So, in perspective, shit happens, and while this is frustrating, it’s a car not my family’s home or someone’s health.

Poor resolution. My “sport” part number for frame and foam is 4GO 885 375 B. Then there is and 07. That is frame and foam. Leather is separate.
