Hey guys it turns out i have a fat hookup for je forged internals and i need to make sure i order the righr pistons.

can anyone let me know which ones i should run.

http://www.jepistons.com/cat/je/sport/vw/18t.shtml

car: 99.5 audi a4 1.8t quattro manual

i think the ones i need are part number: 242928

ALSO... it turns out i have a good hookup through my job for scat connecting rods. Part numbers on what i need to run would be great so i can call up brian and ask him for the price on them.

well i will see what the price is. I looked in the scat catalog that we have here at edelbrock and i didnt see a part number for audis. so i would need an exact part number on what the audi/dub guys run so i can get a price quote. i will also mention a group buy to him over the phone. So when i find price i will post up a group buy if bryan or kirk at scat is down for it. It turns out its someone who works here who has the good hookup and not the company.

Paul where the hell have you been hiding?!?!? And don't even talk to me about the b5 forum on fortitude(vortex)- unless you enjoy people asking your opinion on which is a better mod- a shift knob or eyelids? :P

^^^^^I hear ya JEDI...Mods are not eyelids, pedal covers, carbon fiber decals and shift knobs...They're BIG turbos, injectors, exhausts, tubular headers,LWFW,clutches,FMIC,BBK's and stand-alone so you can tune these mods in......ALL show and NO go blows !!!

Scat p/n is SE-5670-787, 144mm as ian mentioned.

The last boost factory GB on vortex wasn't very impressive imo.

you would want to run the JE p/n 242880 if you don't have to bore. 9.25:1 is a reasonable static cr
